The Story behind it

With this record, Mbalango honours the Inhagóia neighbourhood in Maputo, where he was born and raised. The themes of the CD are compositions by Mbalango and two instrumental traditional mbira songs: Chemtengure and Nemamussassa. The musical themes with Márcio Pinto are the result of the cooperation between these two artists on the occasion of the Tambouriland festival in 2017 in Lisbon
